Used Equipment

Part of Services & Achats mission is to develop a unique inventory of the equipment and machinery in Group mills that is up for sale. The Department also manages equipment transfers from one mill to another.

It is therefore constantly on the look out for opportunities to buy used equipment and parts in order to make the machinery more effective. The used parts and equipment are generally bought and sold within the Cascades Group although sometimes, as a second choice, this is done outside the Group through brokers or auctions.
